Partnering for Holistic Health in Monduli

Participants in our pilot training program in Arusha

At Primetel Health, we know that real change in healthcare is achieved through unity of purpose and collective action. This September, we had the privilege of joining forces with Tanzania Better Health and the committed Amazing Grace Volunteers to deliver both physical and mental healthcare to vulnerable communities in Monduli, Arusha. Over the course of a full week, our teams moved from one student centre to another, from church halls to community gatherings, carrying with us a message of healing that went beyond the physical. We began with comprehensive health screenings and education sessions in student centres, where young people eagerly embraced knowledge about both their physical wellbeing and the importance of caring for their mental health. The outreach then spread to church communities, where faith and health met in spaces filled with openness, conversation, and encouragement. Each day brought new faces and fresh opportunities: students asking questions about stress and resilience, mothers seeking guidance on family health, and community members ready to challenge the stigma around mental health. Together, we created an environment where awareness replaced silence, and hope replaced fear. By the close of the week, we had reached over 1,000 people with vital services and life-changing education. What stood out most was not just the numbers, but the transformation we witnessed: communities beginning to see healthcare as holistic, families leaving empowered, and young people realizing that wellbeing includes both body and mind. This milestone is a testament to the power of partnerships. Alone, each organization can make an impact — but together, we multiplied our reach, deepened our message, and ensured that no one was left behind. At Primetel, we remain committed to this vision: healthcare that is accessible, holistic, and transformative for every Tanzanian.
